In Text AdsOne of the great ways to make money online with a website is In Text Ads.

In text ads is a form of contextual advertising where specific keywords within the text of a web-page are matched with advertising and/or related information units usually in the form of double underlining of the link. Upon a hover of the mouse over such a hyperlink, a floating informational bubble opens with content from an advertiser. If the hyperlink is clicked, the visitor is directed to the advertiser’s landing page; otherwise, when the mouse is moved away from the hyperlink, the bubble disappears. Your earnings will vary and very much depend on the selected keyword and the amount of traffic you receive.

The advantages of this advertising format is that you do not need additional advertising space but is integrated into the content itself. However,  on the other side it is disadvantageous as its one of the most intrusive forms of advertising and it also goes against the principles of web usability.

The Infolinks doesn’t pay much. I get $0.01 for 13 clicks. I think, I should go with Kontera. What’s your suggestion?

I’ve tried all these services and based on my experience none of them are any good. On top of the low cpc they can be very annoying to readers. You can see this yourself as your bounce rate will start to increase. I think it’s best to stick to adsense and private ad sales.

I’ve used Infolinks and Adbrite and they both pay poorly. The advertisers wanting ads on one of my websites are not related to the content of that site and inforlinks doesn’t pay enough.

Both Kontera and Infolinks are good but I personally dont like text link ads. It annoys the readers. When ever they scroll over it links popup.
