How to Stop Tracking Your Own Visits with SiteMeter

If you’re using SiteMeter to track visitors on your blog, it’s important to filter out your own visits in order to get an accurate picture of visitors.  As a webmaster, you might be visiting a lot of pages on your blog and these visits inflate traffic data giving you incorrect data of your traffic statistics. Here’s a step by step guide on how to stop tracking your own visits with SiteMeter

1. Login to your sitemeter account with your username & password

2. Go to Manager tab and select Ignore Visits as shown in the screenshot below

3. The final step is to select the below option and it will ignore your own visits to your blog
