My Hostgator Review – They’re the best

in Web Hosting

As a webmaster, you need to ensure that you choose a great web hosting company to support you in your online ventures. There’s nothing worse than working hard to build up traffic and facing downtime when the traffic arrives. I’ve had my share of experiences with different web hosting companies, and the web hosting company I recommend is Hostgator. Hostgator is the best web host around as they’re reliable and offer great customer support.

HostGator Plans

Hostgator offers a variety of hosting plans like every web hosting Company does – shared hosting, reseller hosting, VPS and dedicated hosting services. I started with the Hostgator shared hosting plan about 3 months ago. With the limited experience that I have with them, I can only think of one time where I’ve experienced any downtime at all (which lasted for a few minutes only). Hostgator guarantees a 99.9% uptime and they live up to it.

Hostgator CPanel User Interface

For managing your web hosting accounts, Hostgator uses CPanel. CPanel is a web hosting control panel that provides a graphical interface and automation tools designed to simplify the process of hosting a web site. Hostgator CPanel is very simple to understand and use, it allows you to set up 3rd party software. I have installed WordPress for my blog, which is a very simple process with the help of Fantastico.

Hostgator Support

hostgator logoComing to their support, Hostgator support is the best. They offer 24/7 web hosting support which is accurate and really very fast. You can use their live chat on their website to get your questions clarified. The best part about the support is that their patient and always provides accurate responses to the questions you have. I’ve contacted Hostgator numerous times for issues, and I’ve always come out with my solution in hand – which of course is unlike many of the web hosting companies out there!

Hostgator Pricing

Hostgator’s pricing is quite competitive and they’re not the cheapest web host. If you’re starting of with them, you can use Hostgator coupons that can save you money. You can use the coupon code FORCLP250FF to get 25% off on your purchase. This is the maximum discount they offer and you can avail this by using the coupon code.

Their sign up process is really very simple and you have the options to pay via Credit Card or PayPal. There is really no reason not to try Hostgator with their 45 day money back guarantee.

Hi Mahesh – Thanks for your comment. Yes – I’ve contacted them many times for issues I’ve faced…but not necessary with with their hosting. I also contact them for any problem and advice on my blog..for Ex they suggest using the W3 Total Cache instead of Super Cache.

I also did migration for my blog myself for which i needed their help.
Although Hostgator can do it for you as well.

Hope you get the idea.

@ TechJ – I’ not sure what problem you’ve had with them , but 50MB should actually not be a problem..

I’ve been with them for a while now and really very happy with their uptime and services..

Btw – Are you trying to migrate WordPress DB?
