Social bookmarking is a method for Internet users to organize, store, manage and search for bookmarks of resources online. Social Bookmarking is a great way to promote your blog posts by building backlinks to your blog. In a Social bookmarking system users save links to web pages that they want to remember and/or share. These bookmarks are usually public and can users usually view these bookmarks chronologically, by category or tags, or via a search engine.
Social Bookmarking is one of the most effective ways to get free traffic and improve your website SEO by getting free one way links from high PageRank websites.
3 Sites to Automate Social Bookmarking of your Blog Posts
1. SocialMonkee – Social Monkee is a great service that allows you to submit your article URL to over 25 different high-PR social services that will then backlink directly to your page in less than a week. It couldn’t be easier, you simply type in a few details about the article and click the send button.
Social Monkee does the rest, taking care of all 25 of the submissions and propagating the description and tags. Social Monkee also offers full support for spintax (spun article titles and descriptions), which is perfect for maximum ranking power. The base Social Monkee service is free for ONE article a day, going to 25 links. You can sign up with SocialMonkee
2. IMAutomator – IMAutomator works similarly to Social Monkee, but submits your article details to another 15 social bookmark sites in the free version, each of which is different from Social Monkee’s portfolio. IMAutomator uses a similar interface to Social Monkee, just drop your article URL and details into the fields and submit.
When you submit a link such as a bookmark to the system, it stores the details of that link in their database. You can choose how fast or slow you want the links to be submitted – by default for each bookmark, one individual submission will be made per day. This spreads out the backlinks slowly over time which is generally considered to look more ‘natural’ to Google. You can sign up with IMAutomator
3. SocialADR – One of the best services available, SocialADR is the only Social Bookmark Automator that has 100% natural backlink power.
They use a nifty submit-for-credits system that allows you to submit other people’s bookmarks to the social sites you’re a member of (which earns you credits), and they then return the favor and submit your article URLs and details to their social sites using your provided spintax titles and descriptions. They are currently using 21 social media sites to submit to. You can sign up with SocialAdr

Hi,
I confirm, they’re extremely useful tools! I used Social Monkee only, the others I haven’t tried yet but looking forward to trying them. Thanks for sharing this, extremely useful!
Best wishes,
Joshua
Hi Sandeep,
I would advice you to have a look at ping.fm as well. it is free tool and can post your articles to the web2 sites via your blogs rss feeds.
Regards. Adam
Hi There – will check out ping.fm – thanks
Giving all three a try, socialadr looks little spammy to me.
The upsale is really pushed hard.
Hi Jason – You’re right. Try IMAutomator – they’re a good bet
Thanks, will be checking these out. I have a few blogs but haven’t focused too much on social bookmarking except for using Digg and Stumbleupon manually. Definitely ought to look into stepping up this type of promotion.
I have no problem trying these… I guess I’m tired of the “IM” use in names, so I kind of feel like I’ll skip that one.
OnlyWire and these 3 seem like solid social bookmarking tools to use though.
Ok Lauryn – Welcome to my blog! I just checked out your blog – the name is cool!
Thank you , Nice List
